I am a Professor of Psychology and Education at Northwestern University. My research interests include the following: Learning and Thinking; Analogy, Similarity and Metaphor; Concepts and Conceptual Structure; Language and Cognition; Language Acquisition; Cross-linguistic Studies. I am also director of the Cognitive Science Program and Co P.I. for the Spatial Intelligence and Learning Center.
