UNED Talks on Spatial Cognition

The Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (National University of Distance Education) of Spain is hosting a series of talks on spatial cognition related to the project, “‘Learning of visuospatial skills to enhancing equal opportunities from educational, evolutionary and gender perspectives’”.

The meeting will take place on July 10th and includes an opening presentation by guest speaker David Uttal, professor at Northwestern University and director of SILC. The talk is titled, “Why spatial thinking matters for STEM and what can we do about it.”  Other talks cover topics of mental rotation, memory, and spatial cognition in relation to gender and social equity.
